Sasaki Nozomu (Mouri Shin)
1. As for yourself, what do you think of the work "Yoroiden Samurai Troopers"
There are a considerable amount of points, but I think it was a product that helped to guide my own life as a voice actor.
2. In the piece, was there a character's scene (line) that left an impression?
As for my favorite character, it would have to be my own role, Mouri Shin. A line that left an impression would be “The Youja, The Youja!”, but I wonder if that was my line or someone elses. Also I wonder if that line existed in the first place, my memory is faint.
3. During production, were there any episodes you remember having left and impression?
During the TV series, it was not unusual that the day before dubbing, when Shin had a lot of lines, for me to have caught a big cold. Ah, dammit it's happened again, I'd grieve. Then when we'd record I'd have a horse voice. Even now I'm embarrassed about it.
4. What do you think it is about Yoroiden Samurai Troopers that has caused it to still be liked?
The work itself had its own appeal of course. In those days, in accordance to the needs at the time and what was fun for fans, the show had a wide breadth. I don't think there are any other appeals then that.
5. In your life, what heart (kokoro) do you think you live by?
For example, the heart of impulse buying, and the heart of forbidding that. The heart that pushes no other but that one heart, and as well as the heart that explains difficult questions.
6. A few words about Yoroiden Samurai Troopers?
I very greatly appreciate your kindness, and as always take care.
7. Finally, a message to the fans of Yoroiden Samurai Troopers.
To the fans of the Troopers, I'm always grateful.
This is Sasaki Nozomu.
I think it is a huge privilege, then and now, that you have come across this product. Please, from now and forever love the Troopers.
