Shin (伸)
Profile
Mouri Shin
March 14th 1973 Blood Type A
164cm/5'4" 54kg/119lbs
Birthplace: Yamaguchi Prefecture
In spite of the fact that at first glance he looks to be a kind person, because of small lines such as, “Where you raised in a barn?” “Damn” “Humph” we know he has a bit of a bad mouth. He might have to deal with heavy “shackles” because of the oppression of being born and raised in the famous Mouri family. It's when he accidentally reveals his true opinion that this type of character comes out. Also, another cause is that since he is the oldest and is a year ahead in school compared to the other four, He is forced to play the part of taking in the situation around them at every level. (Though this is not seen much in the TV series)
However, Shin really does have a gentle disposition. He tells us about his home, the ocean, his friends, and the people he wants to protect. Therefore, there isn't one trooper that hasn't recognized these capabilities.

How he got the yoroi
Shin's family are decedents of Mouri Motonari of the Mouri navy. They say that the Mouri family ancestor operated a Shogun authorized trading vessel. Now the Mouri family are known as potters of Hagi pottery. In reality the family inherited the mission to protect the Hagi Sea and have done so for generations.
Shin, who had been raised with this family lineage, from the time he was a child he became familiar with the sea. When Shin turned 15 he read some ancient Mouri family documents and instinctively knew about the existence of the armor. So, he went diving by himself and found the Suiko armor.
When Shin discovered the armor, Kasou, who saw the reaction of the staff, persuaded Shin that he was the warrior who held the heart/spirit of Trust.
The legend of the armor was passed down in Shin's family. When he told his mother about the armor and Kaosu she said, “He finally came, huh.” She knew everything and in this manner gave her consent. Thus Shin went to face the battle against Arago.
Sports & Hobbies
His strongest sport is Basketball. He is good at the quick movement of Basketball because he has good lung capacity. His hobby is cooking. Who decided that if you're not a girl you can't cook? Cooking is very creative. Matching flavors and creating new flavors, its a very creative operation. Shin, who has the heart of Trust, is very interested in the subject of food preparation.
Also, ever since he was very young he practiced the art of the tea ceremony, and the art of wielding the yari.
Life
He was raised in a house of ancient and honorable origin, which consisted of forbidden things. One thing you should not be mistaken of, he was not a young master who was ignorant of the ways of the world.
Dislikes
Whole fish. Of course anyone who doesn't love the sea.
People he respects
Takasugi Shinsaku & Senno Rikyuu
So, the question is, why were they willing to fight the youja?
Ryo and the others came with special training, but weren't brawny soldiers. If you watch the scenes you'll understand, they're just normal young boys. So, why did they volunteer to fight the youja?
The various hearts live within the armor. In order to wear the armor, one must have a perfect understanding of that armor's heart. That is, you don't have to have physical power to wear the armor, you have to use your own heart to be able to wear it.
In episodes 25 – 28 when the Troopers polish up their various hearts and are able to power-up the armor, I think they gained some understanding.
The five are able to greet the return of a peaceful life in the final episode. Maybe they found something that really suits them better than an ordinary peace.
